Man, I remember the time I landed on this web page and found this cover of a book. I think it was and smacked out in the middle of the cover and that title was.  It was exactly what I was looking for.

I was searching for web development or some kind of term like that and bang!  Right in the middle of that e-book cover was “Successful Steps for Web Development” and I went wow, that’s cool.

Email Marketing Services from Kaperider.comAll I needed to do was enter my name and my email address and boom!  I got that free content that answered exactly what I was trying to do.  That was probably fifteen years ago when I was just learning website development and trying to figure out how it all works but it still holds true today.

What Is Needed For Effective Email Marketing?

For effective email marketing and using the Email Marketing Services  properly there is really a few things you really need to keep in mind.  In this blog post, we will outline the four or five steps that you need to be effective with email marketing services.

Step One – Engage Audience into Value Content

You have to have some kind of bribe and a bribe is exactly what I mean.  It is some kind of value content that is useful to your audience.  You have to be able to:

  • Build a list
  • Organize your list
  • Manage your list

And you can use it in other ways.  You have to have great content. Without great content you can’t do much and you are not going to attract audience and you have to be consistent. Being consistent with how you approach email marketing is critical. Then you always will have to … always deliver value and great things in the content that you are producing.  Those are the four or five key steps that we will go through in this blog post.

Step One — Power of Content

Content works like a bribe. A valuable bribe.

Let’s get back into it … a bribe.  What exactly is a bribe?  What can you use as a bribe?

In some cases, bribes are a simple thing like an e-book where you’ve published some great content that is around a topic that your audience is looking to solve.

Like in my case when I was first starting out, I wanted to learn about internet marketing, so I was searching for terms like:

  • How to do internet marketing?
  • What is internet marketing?
  • How do I build a website?

All that information I found in an e-book.  A bribe could be a video.  A video that has a lot of great valuable content in it can be structured as a bribe.

Thus, visitor or the prospect needs to give their name or their email address to be able to download that piece of content.

Once you have given them that great content, you know they gave you their email address for it and now they have become part of your list. Apt Email Marketing Services.

Step Two – Organize Email Lists

The second very important thing for effective email marketing services is the lists and lists are really the center of your online marketing and how you run your business.  Email is a little bit different than mail you may get in your physical mailbox.

It is a little different than someone meeting you in a consultation or in a meeting.  Email and being on someone’s email list … it’s a very important thing because email that lands in someone’s inbox is pretty intimate.

Step Three – Manage to Be on Someone’s Email List?

People delete probably 80% of the emails that they get but the 20% that they do read and actually that 5% to 10% that they actually read and wait for are very, very important.

They are important because you can get to somebody’s eyeballs and you can get to somebody’s heart or their emotions or their wallet so to speak,

…when they are ready to buy something because you are in their inbox and you are waiting for them to read you.  Being on a list is very important to the center of everybody’s online marketing efforts and then the content.

Critical piece of email is content and content can’t be dry. Stuffy marketing content that you know doesn’t read well or it’s just a sales pitch or it is not written with the audience in mind.  Email content more than anything needs to be:

  • Conversational
  • Engaging
  • Fun things that people want to open up to and read

In a lot of cases, you know email content does not have to be necessarily related to or directly influenced by the product and service that you offer. But it needs to be something that is going to get the reader to want to actually take a look at it all.  So, email content is very, very important.

Step Four – Be Consistent With Your Email Messaging

The other part that is really important for email marketing services is ‘consistency’.  You have to be consistent with your email messaging.  You know, anywhere from one to two emails a week, sometimes a little more, depending on what you are doing.

But one email a month is just not enough.

  • That will just get lost in the fog.
  • That will just get lost with your users.

The consistency is important so that you can build up the knowing and the trusting and the liking. You’re building up that relationship with that reader so that they come to expect that email in their inbox and that’s something that will educate them making them look forward to it.

That really leads to my last point here … is value. Your value from your emails is critical.  You can’t just expect to blast somebody with a message around a promotion or a message around something that is not relevant to them and not providing value.

Everything you write and everything you distribute into somebody’s email box has to be valuable to them.
