Selecting Your Copywriting Services
Are you struggling to find copywriting services for your business, to promote your products, or to dive revenue into your sales organization? …the compelling copy that truly drives conversions?
You’re not alone. Writing great copy is hard work, yet it’s essential for any successful business.
You know the old expression: “a man with two watches never knows what time it is”? It can apply to finding great copywriting services, too.
And if you’re not sure where to start when selecting the right copywriting services for your business, we’ve got your back! Read on for key questions to ask in order to make an effective decision when outsourcing this important part of your sales & marketing strategies.

Choosing copywriting services when you’ve got several ones that have tested well and interviewed even better can be painful, and with good reason. They’re both great, but which one is better?
You need more than a gut instinct …that’s where the danger lies.
It’s typical to want to simply trust your gut and choose the first one, or the one that you like the most in rates or other details. But you have to remember that copywriting services, when you bring them on, should be long-term and closely aligned to your needs.
This means no relying on your gut for who to hire. Externalize the decision to those tough questions you didn’t ask in the first round of interviews.
These are examples of some challenging and thought-provoking questions that will easily show you who’s on top of their game and who isn’t, even if they all seem equal in the beginning and impossible to distinguish between:
What’s your favorite piece of copy on our website?
Not only will this confirm that they did take a look at your website, it forces them to pay attention to the copy there and to find key components to focus on. This is going to also give you a sense for how they see your copy as well.
How would you describe your service’s copy?
This answer can be a wild card, but it’s a good one. They’ll use a lot of the industry terms like “clean” and “professional” and “engaging”. Then, they’ll be able to elaborate with other details that will expose how they see their own work — is this in line with what you want? Why or why not?
Why are your copywriting services a good match for us?
